The image of the scanned photo is too vivid and needs to be subdued


Image with overly dense hues

This occurs when the overall saturation and intermediate colors are too intense. In other words, the hues are too dense or too pure.

To remedy this, reduce the tone curve of the intermediate color with the Tone Collection in the image import software, EPSON TWAIN Pro. Otherwise, click the Color Adjustment button to reduce the level of saturation, and scan the image again.
